Feb. 12, 2022: At 16th Street Didomenico Park. 
24 Environmental Heroes cleaned up 42 bags of trash and other items, including scrap metal, boat bumpers, plastic traffic gates and a 30 foot boat rope. Thanks for the help from the Weimmer campaign. 

Note: Our January 29, 2022 clean up was cancelled due to snow. 
February 26, 2022: Ahern Veterans Stadium: 21 Environmental Heroes picked up 40 bags of trash, removed numerous large pieces of metal (possibly from Sims scrapyard across the bay), along with a propane tank, several pallets, various plastic tubs and barrels. Thanks again to help from Hackensack Riverkeeper and Clean Stream Team.
Our March 12 Clean-up was cancelled due to the "bomb cyclone."
April 23, 2022 at Rutkowski Park. For Earth Day, 26 Environmental Heroes picked up 50 bags of trash, a propane tank, pieces of plastic, a rusty hot water heater and a sofa with the help of the Bayonne Water Guardians and the Dept. of Public Works, Bayonne NJ. 
City of Bayonne's Earth Day Clean Up on April 30, 2022.  20 Environmental Heroes picked up 25 bags of trash, a wood pallet, a broken plastic chair, a fish tank, fire extinguisher, a tote box, and some scrap metal (possibly from Sims)  Our most dedicated Environmental Heroes receive AWARDS for their dedication!
May 21, 2022 Ahern Veterans Stadium Park.  14 Environmental Heroes cleaned up 24 bags of trash, an old blanket, a propane tank, Sims metal debris and various plastic pieces.  Thanks to Students in Action of Secaucus and folks from the Hackensack Riverkeeper.
June 25, 2022: At 16th Street DiDomenico Park, 19 Environmental Heroes cleaned up 27 bags of trash, a wood pallet, a styrofoam box, a boat pillow, and one piece of metal with foam backing, likely from Sims Metal across Newark Bay.  It was a hot day but with so many volunteers we got the job done in less than two hours.
July 23, 2022, in 98 degree heat, 6 Environmental Heroes picked up 12 bags of trash, a pool noodle and three pieces of scrap metal with foam backing from the shoreline of Dennis P. Collins Park.  
Aug. 20, 2022:  Rutkowski Park. Joining with Hackensack Riverkeeper, 20 Environmental Heroes cleaned up over 20 bags of trash, 9 coming from the Hudson Cty Park side.  Unfortunately, many plastic straws were found on the beaches. We also removed Sims trash, a tire, 2 wood pallets, 2 soccer balls and many beer and water bottles.  
10 volunteers came from the Bayonne Nature Club.
September 3, 2022 Ahern Vets Memorial Park. Seven Environmental Heroes labored on Labor Day Weekend to clean the shoreline behind Bayonne Hight School.  Eight bags of trash were cleaned up, one wood pallet, one traffic cone base and thousands of pieces of bottle caps, straws, cigar tips and Styrofoam.
October 22, 2022 at Dennis P. Collins Park: 
21 Environmental Heroes picked up 19 bags of trash, one white construction helmet, one propane tank, one gas tank, one hot water heater, two large pieces of wood, four large pieces of plastic. One toy dog. 
November 6, 2022 - DiDomenico 16th Street Park: 8 Environmental Heroes picked up 6 bags of Styrofoam and bottles and 5 pieces of Sim scrap metal from the beach.   NOTE: Our Dec. 3 cleanup was canceled due to heavy rain.
