January 27, 2024 at 16th Street Park:  Three Environmental Heroes picked up 8 bags of trash, 1 wooden pallet, one large traffic cone, one 5-gal plastic bucket. Thanks to Joe of DPW. 

January 23, 2024: Eight Environmental Heroes who came to our "pop-up clean-up" at 16th Street DiDomenico Park and picked up 18 bags of trash, two 50-gal plastic barrels, six 5-gal plastic pails, 1 plastic gas can, one large plastic tote, 1 baby car seat, and one 48-gal ice cooler. Later on 1/27/24, they returned to pickup 6 more bags, a traffic cone and a 5-gal bucket. Now the job is finished! 

January 9, 2024: Pop-up cleanup of the beach at Rutkowski Park ahead of the storm. 6 large trash bags and numerous barrels/traffic cones were collected. Pictured Tom, Mike, Tom and Jim. Not pictured was Sue R. who got us started early.

Feb. 22, 2024 at Ahern Vet Stadium Park. 7 Environmental Heroes picked up 20 bags of trash, along with 3 pallets, 3 milk crates, long PVC piping, 55 gal trash can, 4 plastic 5-gal buckets, top from a large trash barrel and a large slab of marble. 

Feb. 20, 2024: 10 Environmental Heroes worked in the cold to clean up Rutkowski Park. They picked up 14 bags of trash, plus a milk crate, a plastic pipe, a large flower pot, 2 water bottles, a large piece of Styrofoam and other pieces of plastic and foam. Thanks to DPW for removing the trash we collected.
March 16, 2024 at Rutkowski Park:  23 Environmental Heroes cleaned up 28 bags of trash, removing 1 rusty refrigerator, 3 tires, 2 traffic cones,     2 street signs, a long plastic pipe, a Coleman Cooler, a Child's Car-Seat, a Construction hat, 1 large plastic tote, 4 five-gal buckets, a Helium tank and numerous large pieces of plastic from the shoreline in Rutkowski Park.

April 6, 2024 Dennis P. Collins Park. 20 Environmental Heroes cleaned up 16 bags of plastic bottles and Styrofoam along with 2 large pieces of plyboard, 2 hot water heaters, 6 rusted crushed appliances, 3 tires, 1 shopping cart, 2 wood cabinets, 1 large spool top, lots of fishing and shipping line, and odd pieces of plastic.

May 4, 2024, Rutkowski Park: Fourteen Environmental Heroes cleaned up 22 bags of trash, a tire, a fuel can, numerous pieces of wood, and thousands of pieces of small plastics.  We thanks Dept. of Public Works of Bayonne NJ for removing the trash we collected from this urban wildlife area. 
June 1, 2024 Shoreline Cleanup at Gatehouse, off Rt 440, Harbor View Market Place, Bayonne NJ. Twenty-five Environmental Heroes cleaned up 34 bags of trash, 38 tires, two pool noodles, thousands of plastic bottles and styrofoam, a rusty grocery cart and a highway sign. Thanks to Veolia for hauling tires up from the inlet and for donating cases of drinking water. Thanks again to Hackensack Riverkeeper for joining in the fun. Also as always, thanks to Dept. of Public Works for picking up the tires and trash and hauling it away.
July 27, 2024, 16th St DiDomenico Park. 
Our 14 Environmental Heroes cleaned up 24 bags of trash from the boat launch to the north end shoreline. Here's a list of some of the items we removed: Plastic lawn chair, 2 large storage tubs, 2 plastic bread trays, EMR scrap metal with Styrofoam, long plastic hose, 50-gal pickle barrel, 2 life jackets, one parking sign, one traffic cone. Numerous beer and whiskey bottles.
August 10, 2024 Rutkowski Park with the Hackensack Riverkeeper and students of Hudson County Community College. Twenty-nine Environmental Heroes picked up 25 bages of trash, 4 tires, a row boat, vases and urns, 2 5-gal pails, a mattress, a propane tank, a traffic cone, milk and bread crates, plyboard, a patio chair, and a huge piece of styrofoam scrap metal. September 28th, 2024 shoreline cleanup at Dennis P Collins Park. In spite of rain and mist, four Environmental Heroes collected 8 bags of trash plus numerous plastic items: Bottle caps by the hundreds, cigar tips, plastic straws, Styrofoam pieces and a large ladder from a playground set. Thanks again to our Environmental Heroes.
